Bear Me Far

Bear-Me-FarPanda can’t remember when she first read this, but it’s one of her favourite Chinese poem:

「人生在世不稱意,明朝散髮弄扁舟。」~李白

Translation:
“Life may not be as you want it, but we can still enjoy tomorrow without bondage and sail to the unknown.”

It’s a pity that no translation can deliver the beauty of language without losing some of it’s mystic, so Panda searched for another great English poem that is equally beautiful to go with this drawing: Crossing The Bar by Alfred Lord Tennyson

“Crossing the bar” means to overcome a tremendous obstacle.

And we’re happy that we are not sailing alone… :)
